Storage Boxes
Storage Box Applications
Tom - 08/21/2010
Many individuals around the glove associate storage boxes with
decorative designs with the feelings of intrigue and nostalgia.
Since you can pick virtually any color and design that you can
dream of ranging from a theme that starts at floral designs to
polka dots it is a collection appealing to every taste. When
determining if a storage box will enhance the design of a
certain room, there is not much information available as
nothing is really written in store.
Your main objective when choosing your decorative storage box is to make certain that
whatever you select fits in well with your living space, and is
something you will be proud of and happy to look at for the
next few years. For example, a very formal room created with a
traditional design in mind with muted colors of brown and gold
would not necessarily serve as a fine backdrop for colorful
Victorian floral storage boxes. On the other hand, if you
select dark and medium leather boxes with antiqued metal strips
and tacks, this would become a valuable enhancer to your room’s
décor.
Many ways to use storage boxes
Additional storage comes in handy whenever space is limited.
Many city apartments have this problem to begin with, and
normal family homes also seem to shrink in space the longer we
inhabit that. A storage box can alleviate some of these
symptoms and add an unexpected design element to your room
décor as well.
- It is unnecessary to always use storage boxes in groupings.
You can use a small single storage box on a bookcase shelf, end
table or coffee table.
- Arrange a nest of boxes beside the fireplace at Christmas for
a festive holiday look and storage wrapping paper, bows and
supplies
- Collect craft supplies and store in one place
- Loose office supplies can be contained in storage boxes for
easy use
- Create small corner vignette with several storage boxes of
varying size stacked on top of each other offset with a tall
potted plant and a floor lamp
- Store magazine collections
- Place three different sized boxes on top of each other
underneath an end table and place a small plant on top to
cascade down the tiered boxes
- Keep photo collections from being lost or ruined
- Stack several boxes in the corner floor of a stairwell. Add a
chair and a plant or umbrella stand for a new focal point in
your foyer.
