Holiday Lighted Decorative Gift Boxes
Welcome to
our decorative gift
boxes page! The next time that you are
giving a gift to somebody and do not feel like wrapping a
regular brown cardboard
box, opt
for a decorative gift
box. These
can come in a variety of shapes, sizes and
color and can be a
great conversation
starter as well. Think about the last
time that you received one of these and you will know
what I mean. If never, than that is my point as you would
definitely remember one of them.
There are
many types of occasions, events and people that these work
great for. Some examples might be
babies
, bridesmaids, groomsmen, birthday
recipients and others, just use your imagination.
Some stores sell specialty boxes which are meant to hold
food, cookies, glasses or wine. Many of these will have additional,
supported compartments within them not allowing these items to
break or get damaged during the shipping and handling. Even if
you hand deliver them yourself, there are many bumps along the
way which could potentially destroy the gift.
The two
main types that you will find are either ones that are open
ended which you can place clear
plastic over
or ones with
lids. These
could also be decorative gift
baskets and not boxes as they work
in the same matter. The choice really depends on
your personal preference as well as what you are giving
in the box. If they are expensive wine
bottles,
or nicely
decorated cookies... the open boxes are a great way to
show off or allow others to see the contents.
Sometimes, it
really is all about the
presentation.
Holiday Lighted Decorative Gift
Boxes
One of the
most original ideas that I have seen is the
lighted decorative
boxes. These look
like a mix of an ornament and a Christmas light, but can also
hold a present. I find them to be one of the coolest things to
be seen under a Christmas tree and definitely get everyone
talking about them.
Although,
these products tend to be a bit on the pricey side I cannot
emphasize just how great they look. Do yourself a favor and at
least see them in a store so that you can really feel it
yourself. Whenever purchasing or browsing for any box, I still
like to first go to a department store and see what kind of
choices are available and note down the models and prices of my
favorites. Using these two bits of information, I can then make
my way online and look up the competitors to see if they can
match or beat the price. The one thing that is great
about internet stores is that they usually have the best
deals as
their overhead tends to be lower than brick and mortar
locations.
